Tindora Curry

Ingredients
  • 3 cup Tindora (About 20 Tindora)
  • 1 cup Potatoes (Slice into sticks)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 pinch Salt (To taste)
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander - Jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 3 dash Coriander
  • 200 ml Water
Instructions
  1. Wash Tindora very well under cold water
  2. Cut the ends and into slices
  3. Wash and slice potatoes
  4. Add oil in pan on medium heat
  5. Once hot add cumin seeds (let them sizzle)
  6. Add Tindora and Potato slices
  7. Add salt
  8. Add Turmeric, Coriander - Jeera powder, Chilli powder and Garam Masala
  9. Mix and coat the Tindora and Potatoes
  10. Add a little bit of water and cover
  11. Let it steam for 5-7 minutes
  12. Add the remaining water and cover with lid
  13. Let it steam for another 3-4 minutes turn up the heat a little
  14. There should be no water left, garnish with coriander and you are ready to eat
